In this episode, Manny and I talk about the unwritten rules of fishing on the bay. What’s the proper distance to fish next to someone else? Or how far do you go around wade fishermen with your boat? I’m sure we’ve all seen the guy who ruins the bite for someone else or that jerk that just doesn’t care and creates wakes with his boat thinking the bay belongs to him and he can pull up and start fishing right next to you. Well, we talk about how not to be that guy, from boat ramp etiquette, boating around kayak and wade fisherman, kayaking etiquette, and even cleaning table etiquette. We also touch on boating around bigger boats. Yes, a lot of it is common sense and courtesy. Rage on the water is not worth compromising the safety of yourself and/or others. No fishing spot is worth fighting over. We all share our Texas coastal bay water ways, let’s continue to show some common courtesy for our fellow anglers.
