Tales from a Hunting Family's Matriarch

A special 75^th Episode, deserves a special guest! I sat down with me grandmother, Juanita, a while back to get her story of how it once was and how our family got its start as a hunting family. Although not a hunter herself, was raised on game meat, learned how to cook it and has been around it all her life. She shares an interesting family history describing how our Ancestors hunted for necessity and then later evolved into the strong Escobar family tradition it is today. I am also joined by my cousins, Noe, Adrian, and Andrew who are also hunters and they ask their questions, as well.  A little different episode, but I think it’s interesting to hear how it once was and how I would assume several families have a similar history. I wanted to get her story recorded as I believe it’s important to learn about our family’s heritage and legacy from our elders.  If you are blessed to have grandparents in your life, make it a point to sit down with them and ask them share their story.
